Are you planing on getting married at Shell Island… it feels like stepping into a world untouched. No crowds, no distractions—just endless sky, soft white sand, and that unreal turquoise water from the Gulf stretching as far as you can see.
It’s the kind of place where nature does all the work for you. The light alone tells a whole story. Within a single hour, you can experience everything from bright, full sun to that soft golden glow of sunset, and then into the dreamy, cool tones of blue hour. Every moment feels different, and every photo carries its own mood.
This beautiful bride had a cloudy sunset, but instead of taking away from the magic, it gave us the most incredible tones as the blue light set in. It was calm, romantic, and completely unique proof that not every perfect moment needs a perfect sunset.

Did you know you can get that soft, woodsy landscaping feel right by the beach? Yes, you heard that right. Florida offers a wide variety of backdrops for your photos, not just sandy shores. We have some truly unique vegetation that’s absolutely worth capturing.

Let’s talk about Destin and those dramatic stormy skies. For a lot of people, a moody sky right before a session feels like chaos but for photos, it actually adds that unpredictable magic that makes a family shoot come alive.

I remember this session and I won’t lie, I was on my way there, basically negotiating with the clouds and praying the rain would behave. But like it often does, everything lined up perfectly in the end and the session turned out gorgeous. That’s exactly why I don’t cancel unless there’s a 100% chance of rain… and even then I’m still tempted 😄 Do y’all like stormy skies?
