Sports reminds us that respect is earned in real time.

It comes from discipline, consistency, teamwork, and showing up even when nobody is posting about it.

It’s in the early mornings, the extra drills, the moments when you push through fatigue because your team is counting on you.

There’s no shortcut to that kind of respect, and no filter can fake it.

A lot of the time, the people trying hardest to look untouchable are the same ones looking for attention in the wrong places.

It’s easy to get caught up in that cycle, but it rarely leads to anything meaningful or lasting.

Focus on what actually matters—your growth, your mindset, your relationships, and the work you put in when nobody is watching.

Keep building your life in a way that feels real, and is something you can be proud of today and for years to come.

That is the kind of win nobody can fake, and it’s the kind that stays with you long after the noise fades.

“stay hungry, stay dangerous”

Two hometown girls basketball teams, the North Bay Haven Buccaneers and the Arnold Marlins, playing against each other always makes for an exciting game.

Shooting three-pointers, defense, dribbling up and down the court, and a team that works together is always the foundation for a great start.

From this game, I was able to capture action photographs, and create a the multiple exposure photo, reflection photo, and vintage-inspired black and white photograph.

The palms, the pines, the massive oak trees, the creek, and the sprawling field were the perfect backdrop for this gold hour photoshoot.

These vintage Florida inspired photoshoot was so much fun to photograph with Gage and Grace.

I’ve been lucky enough to be around them since they first started dating, and it has been so fun seeing them grow into their sweet relationship.

They are so fun and were laughing throughout the entire session. I can’t wait to see where they keep moving forward in the future.

Counting down the days until the stadium lights are back on.

Track season in Florida always brings the craziest stories. This meet day started in the 80s, and was easily in the 40s with a huge wind chill by the time the meet was over. It also had two of the closest most “nail-biting” races I’ve seen in a long time.

Can’t wait to see what the meets next year brings!

We unite, we give it all”

In honor of the FIFA World Cup currently happening, I had to post some soccer post season photos; so, here’s to late nights in the pitch sidelines, goal saves, celebrations, and even the quiet moments in between.

Nothing beats the energy and emotion that comes with putting it all out on the line and playing to your absolute best ability.

Playing sports takes an unbelievable amount of sacrifice. Sacrificing free time, sacrificing summers for workouts, sacrificing early mornings all just come along with being an athlete. But, the skills developed, the discipline that follows, the opportunities that are offered, and the camaraderie with teammates makes it worth it.

Behind the Scenes: Part 5

Watch me photograph a local wrestling tournament, The George Mulligan Memorial Tournament, at Bay High School.

I’ve had the opportunity to photograph athletes at this tournament for a few years now, and it’s always one of my favorites. Check out the tips and information I find invaluable for an event such as this!
