Athletes who prove they have earned the chance to compete at the next level are encouraged to play up when opportunities arise, while also developing with their own age group to ensure the organization stays strong as a whole. Every player receives the instruction and competition needed to reach her full potential.

Two players on the Miami Stingrays 16U Gold team earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team in the Championship Bracket of TC Nationals. Abi Barboza finished the tournament with an incredible .655 batting average, racking up 19 hits in 29 at bats, including 4 doubles! Kaley Dyer compiled a .483 batting average with 14 hits in 29 at bats, including a double and 2 HRs! Each of these players had only 1 strike out in 9 games! The Miami Stingrays defeated the Tampa Mustangs 9-7 to make it to the Final Four in TC Nationals! Destiney Ortega earned the win, surrendering only 3 hits and striking out 6 đź’ŞJas Armenteros led the offense, going 3-3 with a HR, a double, and 4 RBIs and Abi Barboza was 2-3. In the Semi-Final game the
Stingrays lost to Unity in a back and forth game by a score of 7-5. Alana McLaughlin was 2-3, Kaley Dyer hit a HR, and Abi Barboza had a double. It was a great day of softball!
