Hi, I was wondering if everyone that sees this post could do me a favor? It take barely a few seconds and is super easy to do.

There is this feature where you can invite your friends to like my page and help me get my likes and followers up and could potentially lead me to new clients. Being a small business owner you rely a lot on word of mouth and social media where people spend a good portion of their day.

To do this, you go to the community section of my page, click “Invite friends to like this page”, click the select all button and then click send. May need to do this a second or third time if they don’t all send through.

Thank you so much in advance!

I wanted to come on here and show both sides of the protest from Saturday here in small town Palmerton, Pennsylvania. As a BLM community I am proud of the way we didn’t stoop to their level. But I’m ashamed to say Palmerton has been my home the last 10 years. Sadly in my surrounding town of Parryville, I got to witness a KKK meeting in the middle of the night once when I helped a friend with his Morning Call route in the middle of the night and I didn’t expect so much hate and racism from Palmerton.

Over the years I’ve seen some people be racist blindly and not realize it by little small acts of calling someone “n” word (insert first name) because those people of color said it was ok to do so even though the n word for any reason is wrong.

We who support BLM, came out with masks on not knowing what to expect while only very few of them wore masks. We knew there would be hate, fear and anger. Did we honestly expect it to be as bad as it was Saturday? I’m sure not all of thought it would be so bad. I knew we had a problem with racism here but I never knew just how bad it was until Saturday and it makes me wonder what kind of area I’m raising my son in. I am ashamed to call Palmerton the place I run my small business as well.

So we had a few people speak and no one for ALM & CLM wanted to listen. Racial slurs and downgrading words were spouted at the top of their lungs at us. Confederate and Don’t Tread On Me flags waving high. Bikers came out against us. They spit on us, circled around some of our woman to intimidate them, acted like sexiest pigs telling one woman to show her titties and spitting on others. They told us before Saturday how violent BLM supporters are. In reality they were the ones who got violent. News couldn’t even be honest about it and own up to it.

When we started to march towards Claude’s away from the park, there was a lady behind me yelling at the bikers to run us over, an older gentlemen was also behind me waving his cane forcefully like he was intending to hit someone with it while a lady with her two young children were trying to pass through to the parking lot to her car, a man in biker gear decided to stand facing Delaware Ave with his arms spread out and was swinging his arms back and forth every time he saw someone for BLM knocking signs out of hands and hitting people in the face, another I caught a picture of putting his hands on a woman looking like he was attempting to knock her to the ground, once we got to the Palmerton sign they circled our town flag in fear, the police put up the barricade between us and one gentleman thought it was appropriate to to continuously poke Chief Smith on the shoulder shouting at us “if it wasn’t for them, if it wasn’t for them, they are here for you, they are the ones protesting you today.” One of our girls responded to ask them what they would have done if cops weren’t there and he said he would beat the sh*t out of everyone there while waving his pointed finger across the crowd of BLM supporters. We marched back to the park and they still spouted hate at us.

We made a poster memorial for activist John Lewis and laid roses down. I had someone assume that I didn’t buy my camera equipment just because I support BLM, had a lady ask me how patriotic I was and my response was “so patriotic I came from another country, enlisted in your military, got my citizenship, loved everyone equally and defended your right to talk to me the way you are but I still love you and I rise above the hate in your heart”. After everyone had dispersed and end home, me and a few others wanted to be the last ones their with our signs, a girl of color and a couple of her friends came over to find out how the protest went because she was on Blakeslee Blvd protesting there. As we were conversation and discussing the protest, someone I recognized as an ALM/CLM supporter from the protest thought it was appropriate to stick their head out the car window and yell the n word at the girl of color standing with us. My only instinct was to stand up and walk with her and the others to the front of the park to protest some more.

Days like Saturday make you ashamed to call Palmerton home.

We have changed our name from Everitt Photography to Timeless Moments Photography. Got tired of the generic “insert last name here” Photography business name.

06/24/2020

Just so everyone knows the former Everitt Photography is now Timeless Moments Photography 💗 Thank you for your help in picking the new name.

06/23/2020

I’m debating a name change for my business but not sure what to name it. The one I originally wanted makes it sound like I cater only to rainbow baby themed sessions. I don’t want my name to give that impression so I’ll make a poll. 8:30 EST tonight I add the answer up and pick the winning name.

A. Over The Rainbow Photography
B. Timeless Moments Photography

Yesterday we had another amazing turn out. Even had some young protesters. I’m proud to say my business is equal opportunity when it comes to hiring interns and I’m proud to say I work with people of all races and nationalities. It doesn’t pay to be racist.
