She wanted to capture some special memories with her daughter during their time in Florida, and somehow, Facebook brought us together 🤍

After a beautiful beach session filled with laughter, running by the ocean, wind in their hair, and little moments of joy… we captured memories that truly feel like summer vacation ☀️✨

Sometimes the most beautiful photo sessions are the unexpected ones ✨📸

I’m the kind of photographer who loves planning ahead... scouting locations, studying the light, and imagining the session before it even happens.

One evening this week, I went to explore a new beach for a future photoshoot… and I brought my mom with me as my little model for the evening 🤍

We ended up having such a beautiful moment together, and of course I couldn’t resist taking a few photos of her while the sun slowly set over the beach. She always happily goes along with my photography ideas, and honestly, I think that makes these moments even more special☀️

5:55 AM wake-up… and it was absolutely worth it 🌅

My first sunrise session, and I already know this won’t be my last.
There’s something so peaceful and magical about this light.

So grateful to have shared this moment with my beautiful friend Danielle! We call her Sunshine for a reason ☀️

Right before everything changes…

Fort Pierce, a warm evening just before graduation.

Alexa is about to start a whole new chapter... university.
But on that night, everything felt still for a moment…

We met at this beautiful park, just as the light was getting soft.
She’s the daughter of my friend Nathalie, which made this session feel even more special 🤍

Because these photos are more than just a session📸
they’re a memory of who she is right now, right before everything changes.

Visiting from Ontario, escaping the cold, and realizing it had been over 6 years since their last family photos.

Part 2 : same photoshoot, a different feeling. 📸🌊

Earlier this week, I shared Part 1 of this session... warm light, dunes, and golden hour magic.
Now comes the second chapter.

We slowly made our way to the shoreline, just minutes before the sun fully set.
The colors shifted, the sky softened, and everything felt calmer… quieter.

This part was about gentle direction, walking in the water, holding hands, and taking a moment to simply admire the ocean and the last light of the day together.

Same family.
Same connection.
A new atmosphere. Right before daylight faded away. 🤍

Part 1 : Golden Hour in the dunes ✨

Meet the Duval-Portal family. A Canadian + Cuban love story, now building their life in Florida with their two beautiful kids, after immigrating here just few years ago. 🤍🌴

We started this session the best way possible… by playing, laughing, and letting the kids run free in the sand while the sun slowly made its way down behind the dunes.

This first part was all about movement, cuddles, spontaneous hugs, and that warm golden light… just being a family.

And the story isn’t over yet...
👉 Stay tuned for Part 2 😃 when we moved closer to the ocean for a softer, beachy vibe with pastel skies and salty hair.

Saturday night at Hobe Sound Beach and memories they’ll always carry with them. 📸
