I love color, personality, and all the little details that make a wedding unique. 💐✨

This beautiful backyard wedding is proof that you don’t need a huge venue to create something special. Thoughtful details, great light, and the people you love most are what truly make a day memorable.

One of my favorite parts of this story? The couple actually met while working at Lowe’s, which made the whole celebration feel even more personal and fun to photograph. ❤️

Sometimes everything just lines up - the couple, the light, the landscape, and the mood. Those are the moments photographers live for.

Photography isn’t about pressing a button. It’s about seeing the connection between people, understanding light, finding the right location, and being ready when everything comes together. The button is the easy part.

Canyonlands delivered an incredible backdrop for this session, but it was the couple who made these images special.

Over the years I’ve taken well over 250,000 (probably closer to a million) photos. Most are on hard drives in boxes.

When people ask to see more, I don’t really dig back through old work or past edits. My style hasn’t changed a lot, but I prefer to show what I’m doing now rather than years ago.

I’m also clearing out older images online so everything reflects my current work going forward.

I’m here for storytelling - real moments, real connection, and flattering portraits that actually feel like you. Not stiff, cheesy, or rushed shoots (phones exist for that). I get asked a lot for quick sessions, and sometimes it can work if everything lines up, but most people need at least an hour to relax and get natural results.

I’m now booking summer shoots on the Grand Mesa wildflowers - perfect for seniors, families, and maternity.

If you’re looking for a wedding venue, I highly recommend checking out Palisade - not just because I now call it home, but because it has some of the best venues in the area.

If you’re drawn to something smaller, outdoors, and full of energy - with live music and views of Mount Garfield — these two are definitely worth a look. I live just 1.3 miles away, so I know the area (and the light!) really well.
