got to take the most precious, rainy pictures of my dear friend just a few weeks ago. we’ve been in each others lives for many years now, and it’s really special getting to watch each other in different stages of life. seems like yesterday she was graduating high school, now she’s the most amazing woman— being such an incredible mama and wife. this family session over the weekend was so special because this precious lady was surprised by family, who don’t live close at all, towards the end of the session. this was captured moments after they arrived. I love moments you couldn’t possibly pose + prompt for, even if you tried. you can’t possibly fake true love between family members, true connection, and the care they have for each other.

this was their first time having everyone together for the first time in years. these photos will matter so much, because they capture something precious that may not happen again for a while.

that’s why it’s so important, as a photographer, to adore what you do. when you love what you bring to the table, your clients can feel that. they need someone who honors the moment just as much as they do. when they book with you, they aren’t just booking “photos”, they are booking a PERSON they can trust. that’s very important- and it deserves to be treated with attention and care🖤

Hey friends! I realized it has been a while since I’ve properly introduced myself here, and there are quite a few new faces around, so I thought I’d reintroduce myself. 🫶🏼

My name is Shiloh, and I’m so glad you’re here!

I’ve been running this photography business for about a year and a half now, and what simply started as me trying to get my feet wet in the industry again has grown into something I am becoming more and more proud of.

Every time I meet new faces and get to work with new people, I’m filled with so much gratitude that I get to be trusted with such precious memories and moments. I don’t think I will ever take that for granted.

Outside of photography, I’m a wife, a mama to the most precious toddler, and a follower of Jesus. When I’m not taking photos or responding to your messages and emails, you’ll usually find me being fully present with my family, making a latte, working on a hobby (right now it’s gardening 🌱), or curled up reading a book.

I’m an artist at heart, and that goes beyond just photography. I love crafts, painting, and anything that lets me put my hands to something and create. At the core of who I am, I just love beauty — creating it and finding it in places people might not expect.

So if any of this resonates with you, I’m really glad we found each other and that you’re here in this space. I love people and will always welcome you here just as you are. 🖤

Looking for 5-10 couples who’d be interested in doing a couples session in their own home. Think cozy, romantic, vintage— dancing in your kitchen, kissing in the hallway, and tons of silly moments in between 🤭 these would be 30 minutes long (unless you wanted an hour), and would be discounted from its normal price. My 30 minute couples sessions are $225, these would be $195!!
