I had such a magical photoshoot with this beautiful new family, who welcomed their hadsome baby boy into the world. Thank you for allowing me into your home to capture such sweet, moments that were so natural and filled with love.

Newborn sessions are absolutely magical, and I'm honored to capture these moments of just how tiny and squishy these little ones are for such a short period of time.

Im so excited to share this maternity session with you all.

Myself and the couple had been planning this photoshoot for sometime. We had one day to make it work, since they were on a quick vacation from Utah. The weather had been very interesting! We had a hurricane, tropical storm, and normal summer Florida weather threatening and making us wonder if we would even be able to make it out to the beach for their session.

The morning of planned session, the weather showed 80% chance of rain, and the looming clouds showed promise to the weather predictions. So I asked if they would be willing to move our evening session to the morning in hopes we would beat the rain, and they agreed to the change.Once we arrived to the beach, the sun came out and all clouds started to disappear, and this beautiful couple made for a perfect maternity session! I feel honored they trusted me and moved forward with my location of choice and time change.

You both are amazing and I cant wait to see you as parents. Im beyoned excited to meet your sweet baby girl Ivy, and take all your next family milestone pictures.

Bring on all the beach sessions PLEASE!!

Last week I had another amazing opportunity to work with this beautiful young lady for her senior pictures at the beach. When we got out the car and said our hellos, I was instantly surprised to see that her super cute bunny, was going to be a star guest at the session. Now I can tell the kiddos I was able to get a few pictures of the Easter Bunny (Walnut) right before he went on his mission to hide Easter eggs, and I can cross off my list, photographing a bunny on the beach, how fun!!

Being a mother has been one of the most loveliest, most scariest choice I've ever made. Us mother's wake up everyday and chose to mother our children in the way that has either been taught to us, or a script we are learning and writing along the way. It's been such a emotional challenge, but a challenge I will continue to accept each day, because the reward is far more greater than the obstacles that are faced. It is written that “The influence of a mother in the lives of her children is beyond calculation.” —James E. Faust , and I couldn't agree more!

It's always a pleasure to capture the love between a mother and her children during my sessions. Mother's are Magical!

Can everyday be a beach day?!

What started out as a rainy day, ended with a clear evening sky. This family session was magical, and what made it even more special is that I've had the greatest pleasure to be able to capture special moments for this amazing family. I've been working with the Lowney Family for years. Being able to watch their family grow has been such a gift. Thank you to all my wonderful families, you guys rock!

I'm so excited that the weather is changing, and looking forward to many more sessions on the beach.

"We take photos as a return ticket to a moment otherwise gone" -Unknown

We arrived at our location, only to find that everything had been cut down. I had to think quick and find a alternative. We were sunset chasing at this point, and it was the unforeseen change that made me love this session even more. Sometimes the bumps in a road lead us down a new path that is much more suited for our goals. So thankful for that bump, because it allowed me to dig deep into my creative side and find a better location for my beautiful subject.

Here's to sunset chasing and finding beauty in the unknown!

Most couples focus on the engagement and wedding day pictures, but I feel it's very important to take couple photos well after those big events have passed. We change every day as husband and wife and the love for one another just magnifies and turns into appreciation for the moments that have buildup well past the honeymoon stage. It's these moments that form who you become as a couple. Document that growth in love and life and have the photos to reflect on the beautiful journey.

I was super excited when this gorgeous young ladys mom reached out to me about shooting Alyssa's, Senior pictures. All the talk of locations and outfits started happening, and all the creative juices started flowing . I love when my clients are so open to ideas and chatting with what they envision for their session. These open talks allow me to get to know my clients better and certainly allows for a smoother and more comfortable session. One of my favorite things about being a photographer is getting to meet new families that become great friends.

This was part one and we lucked out with a beautiful sky after a Florida storm. I can't wait to share part two and shoot part three!

It's been awhile since I've been active, but I'm so happy to announce that i'm back and accepting sessions! Here's to working with my amazing clients that have been so patient with me while I took time off to focus on my family and to all my new clients that I'm so thankful for.
