Next up is KALAMAZOO, MI with the Battle Creek Kennel Club, the Greater Muskegon Kennel Club, the Kalamazoo Kennel Club, and the Grand Rapids Kennel Club!

I am SO excited to be at one of my very favorite show sites to photograph.

Side note: It cost me a LOT to be there, so get those requests in! 🤣🥰

Ringsides and private sessions available! I will also make it a point to get out to some of the sport rings if there is a desire for photos. :)

Best complement in the world is being told "I thought you used a mirrorless camera. "

Not yet. :)

Hopefully soon.

THANK YOU STONE CITY KENNEL CLUB!

I had such an amazing time at the show in Kankakee, IL this weekend. Absolutely one of the best shows I've attended this year. The entry was small, but you better believe I won't be missing this one in the future! Everyone was SO kind. I saw excellent sportsmanship, excellent entries, and fabulous commentary from judges. Simply an amazing two days in such an unexpected place!

All photos from both days are now ready to go.

SATURDAY'S photos from the Stone City Kennel Club's show in Kankakee, IL are UP AND READY TO GO!

Thank you so much for your patience. The lighting in the building, thought elegant, was very low, which meant that I had to spend HOURS denoising photos. I have an older laptop.... so it took about 22 hours. Yikes. I need an upgrade BAD.

Anyway, here's what I got:

English Setter
Golden Retriever
Juniors
Gordon Setter
Red and White Setter
English Cocker Spaniel
Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier
Miniature Pinscher

Mudi
OH Working Group
OH Herding Group

OH Non-Sporting Group

I am currently importing Sunday's photos and have them set to begin the denoise process overnight. I am hoping to have them edited and published Monday night or early Tuesday.

Importing photos at the Kankakee, IL show!

This has been such an AWESOME day. I've spent the day with friends watching awesome dogs and doing one of my favorite things: making art by photographing dogs!!!

To top things off, someone left this REALLY cool hand made clay ornament on my car- from Art Abandonment. I love it!!!!

I don't know that photos will be uploaded tonight (building is only open until 5 and I'm car camping) but I will get a far as i can. It's a very dark building so a good denoise is required... and that takes a loooong time for nearly 700 photos!

10/22/2026

I still have 3 slots available for fall foliage mini sessions on Monday evening!

4:00 OPEN
4:40 OPEN
5:20 OPEN

10/22/2026

I'll be at the Kankakee IL show with the Stone City Kennel Club THIS WEEKEND!!!

Still taking requests! :)

10/14/2026

All photos from the All American Bulldog Show are finished and uploaded!

Thank you everyone for your patience. I learned that I need a *major* laptop upgrade, so that will happen... once I can afford it, haha.

If you'd like to support the continuation of my photography business, grab a photo or two. :)

Serenity is still doing well, thankfully. No lasting negative effects from her near heat stroke. We are SO thankful!!!

Everything is up *except* Friday's Herding group.

Had a number of setbacks today. I don't feel especially well, and my computer deciding to go on an overheating spree. To keep that theme, Serenity about heat stroked out on us after playing ball outside. She's a go-until-she-drops kind of dog and my husband didn't quite catch that she was overheating. She collapsed when she came inside and we got her temp down from 105.5 down to 102, and it is continuing to come down. Thankfully she is ok, but man that was scary.

I will not have the Herding photos up until sometime Wednesday evening.

Please bear with me and thank you SO much to everyone who has shared, tagged, and gotten photos so far. I've been working non-stop since Thursday and am in desperate need of a few days unplugged.

Photography (and dog training) and my full time job now, and while I am LOVING it, it has some very hard days. Today was one of those. :')
