The Dog Days of Summer Special begins today, and I'm starting with the sweetest boy.

Peppi is a senior pup who prefers the comfort of home, so we created his session right where he feels safest. We photographed him indoors with my studio set up, then stepped outside to his favorite patch of grass for a little sunshine and head scratches.

All season long, pet sessions are 10 percent off, and 10 percent of artwork sales will be donated to Osceola Animal Services to support animals in our community.

Despite Father's Day being right around the corner, I finally had a chance to sit down and write about the Hali family's Mother's Day session. Their session had everything I love: A toddler with their own agenda, a family full of warmth, and the kind of moments you can't script. Personality always wins over perfection.

I never want this work to be transactional. I want families to be comfortable, be heard, and to capture images they will cherish for a lifetime. The Halis made that easy.

And as a bonus, I stumbled into prime night at the park and photographed a sweet teen couple after bumping into her mom! She was an old coworker of my husband. Orlando is huge, so running into a familiar face is so unexpected! I'm so happy to have been at the right place at the right time.

Today is announcement day!

The Dog Days of Summer Special is here, created for the pups who fill our homes with joy and our days with cuddles.

From June 1 to August 31, I am opening a limited number of pet focused portrait sessions. Enjoy a ten percent discount off the booking fee during this special! And as a way to give back, a portion of every artwork order will be donated to Osceola Animal Services to support animals in our community.

I'll be highlighting more samples throughout the week, but this one deserved its own moment.

Baby girl was just 6 days old during her visit to my in‑home studio. It was her very first outing that was not a doctor’s appointment, and she brought all the sweet newborn sounds and fussiness that come with these early days. With a little patience and lots of soothing, she settled right in and we captured the most tender moments. These tiny details change so quickly, and I am grateful to help preserve them for her family.
