Practice the pour. I usually shoot all by myself in my studio. Capturing shots like this takes practice and patience. Sometimes I’m guilty rushing to create content because I have so many irons in the fire. It was fun to play around with my shutter release to get this shot while pouring.

I love how actual captured movement in a frame guides the viewer’s eye. There are so many techniques in food and product photography. I have a few in the last part of the red series.🌹

Even in dark places, "let there be light." Then there was light...bam! I love dark and moody photography. It take something so simple like these red grapes and make them conjure up a sense drama. Either that's the coffee or the photography-geek in me to be a little extra.

Exactly! Do your own work well, and then you will have something to be proud of. But don’t compare yourself with others. Sometimes it's hard to resist the urge. I follow a lot of talented creative and "popular" accounts. I'm not one, nor do I strive to be one of those accounts. This account is more of a creative outlet but even I struggle with comparing myself with established accounts. I don't have a lot of followers, engagement or "likes" for that matter but I love what I post. I hope to look back on my line and see how I improve in content, composition and consistency.

Today's quote can be applied in all areas of life. So for anyone who needs to hear this, "Your value doesn't decrease based on someone's inability to see your worth."
