BARTHELONAAAAAAA
I loved Barcelona. Such a beautiful city. Antoni Gaudi was a visionary. I love how his architecture is so rooted in nature. Also very interesting how he didn’t like straight lines, which is why everything you see designed by him is so different than normal designs.
People go to Barcelona and they of course do the big ones like Sagrada Família and Park Guell but then miss others like Casa Vicens and La Pedrera (Casa Mila). Highly recommend them both.
But besides just Gaudi, there are other great spots. Do check out Sant Pau recinte modernista designed by Gaudi’s mentor, Lluís Domènech i Montaner and is a UNESCO heritage site. The most beautiful hospital I’ve ever seen.
As far as food, stop by Bodega Puntal. The papas bravas were a home run.
Parc de Cuitadella was probably my favorite place in the city. You can feed the Argentine Parrots. It’s also full of so much energy and people enjoying themselves. You can see the mountains in the distance or rent a rowboat. This is a popular spot for dogs too and they can walk around off leash.
At .barcelona you get a free coffee when you use their photo booth in the El Born neighborhood.
has the cutest print vending machine outside. Such a great little souvenir.
Do take the day trip to Montserrat. It’s about an hour away and worth it.
I really enjoyed the view at Salt near Montjuic.
And obviously I saw Bad Bunny at the Olympic Stadium. 10000000/10 recommend.
