14 years apart, nearly one of my first rolls of film and now one of my most recent. Everything in color is from 2012 and was shot on my dad’s original AE-1. Everything b&w was shot on my Elan II in 2026.

It was so pleasant to revisit this space with new confidence, a more certain outlook on life, and I think some more skill. Growth comes in many shapes and sizes and everyone’s journey is different, just remember to always celebrate who you have been and who you can become. ❤️

I’ve been going to Kapé Kaya for 4 weeks in a row now. After the first dragging myself out of bed with little to no sleep to get there by 8am, i was hooked. The people, the community, every pastry curated with love, it all makes waiting in line in the heat that early morning sun all worth it. 🌞

The quality of food was no surprise, me and brooke have been to Kaya for special occasions a few times now and were always impressed. But I am a sucker for a good breakfast. To be named my favorite place for breakfast is high praise, Kaya has earned that #1 spot in my heart now. ❤️

This little month long project has been the jump start i think i needed again. Experiencing the hard work and energy put into a place like this only makes me want to work harder on my own craft! 📸☺️

Shoutout to clarice lam Lordfer Lalicon jamilyn and all of the other amazing staff at Kaya for putting together such an amazing space with great food! 🍰☕️

IF YOU HAVENT GONE YET PLEASE DO!!!! GET THERE EARLY! JUST NOT ANY EARLIER THAN MEEEEE 😊

Florida tax cows. 🐄

These critters are the skirt around the taxation of private land here in our great state. With private developers taking over land hand over fist these guys are slowly becoming a rare occurrence.

As much as the law is a nuisance to funding state taxes these cows are a fan favorite of mine as they are now a common stop on my way home from work. Whether it’s feeding them an extra fruit leftover from work or a few head scratches they make a staple of my community.

In whichever way these serve a purpose to the land owners or the state they serve a greater purpose to the people that see them everyday.

Ooops all black and white!

This hike was so much fun and i met such amazing people along the way! Go outside and go do more! I know traveling is such a privilege these days but save save save and do as much as you can, you’ll never know who you will meet and what kind of experiences you will have!

I think the last slide might give it away i forgot this was not color lol i thought i loaded fuji 400 but when i opened the camera it was trix 400. I blame the altitude 🥲

I also dropped my camera like 40-50 feet down a steep granite slope and she still shot this roll. (Obviously no problems and worked perfectly fine afterwards) But that’s probably why i forgot this wasn’t color film now that i think about it 🫠
