If you’ve been wondering what my Polaroid Portrait Experience actually is, let me tell you a little more of what it’s all about.

It’s a little different from your typical photo booth. I take intentional portraits on instant film, and you get to leave with your own Polaroid. Grab a frame, pick a sticker, and make it yours.

I’m so excited to finally annouce that I’ll be bringing the experience to Collective Corner | Pop-Up Market Halloweentown Market on October 17th from 4–9 PM, so come hang out, get a portrait taken, and leave with a little something to remember the night by!

You can make your Polaroid your own with Halloweentown stickers, purchase a frame for your portrait, and even get a digital scan to keep on your phone. I’ll also have limited-edition film available for something a little extra special.

This Orlando grad session was almost over when I decided to pull out my flash and shoot a few more photos…

I almost packed up my camera.

It was getting dark, and we were pretty much at the end of the session. I could’ve easily called it a night, but something in me said to pull out my flash.

I had a feeling the way the light would bounce off her cap, gown, and dress would look so good!

So instead of wrapping up, we tried it.

And these ended up being some of my favorite photos from her grad session.

This is also why I love leaving a little room to play during a session. Not every photo needs to be perfectly planned or posed. Sometimes it’s the last minute idea, the weird lighting, or something you notice in the moment that ends up creating the photo you love most.

You never know until you try it.

Here’s a gorgeous just married portrait session at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida for your timeline

These two got married earlier that day, then met me at Rollins College to celebrate with some gorgeous just-married portraits, and honestly, I loved this idea so much.

Weddings aren’t something I typically shoot, so it was SO fun getting to meet a couple after they had officially tied the knot and photograph them without all the usual wedding day pressure. No guests waiting on them, no timeline to stick to, no rushing through portraits before the next thing on the schedule. Just two newlyweds who could actually slow down, enjoy each other, and have fun taking photos. 🥹

Of course, because we’re in Florida, it rained right up until the literal minute we needed to start shooting. 😂 We go so lucky and had a good amount of time to get the most beautiful portraits.

I’m officially a BIG fan of the just married portrait session. Give me a newlywed couple, a beautiful location, and zero wedding day timeline pressure any day! 🤍
