I attended the German American Festival with my son last weekend to have some fun. We ate good food and got some shot practice in. I wanted to get some practice in for I will be volunteering as a photographer at the upcoming Eagle Fest, which is also held at Oak Shade Grove.

I had a lot of fun capturing the August 15 Toledo Night Market experience. There were so many vendors and food trucks and even live music by the Skittle Bots.

Gubernatorial candidate Mrs. Amy Acton stopped in Oregon this past Tuesday to support her campaign to become the next governor of Ohio. She is a very good public speaker. It was engaging to see her energy. She has a lot of passion in her public speaking.

I do not support Democrats or Republicans. I only support my role as a photog to bring out the best in people, no matter who they are or what they represent.

I do hope to photograph Mr. Vivek Ramaswamy in the future.

I enjoy attending Oregon city council meetings in which I learn about many interesting events and activities going on throughout the city.

Last night I was blessed to learn about these two young men, who are 2026 Clay High graduates that are going to basic training soon with the Marine Corps.

One of the city councilmen, Mr. Dennis Walendzak, made an effort to recognize them before city council for their brave decision to enlist with the United States military.

It was an honor for me to capture this event and reminds me why I enjoy doing what I do.

I have been visiting Historic Woodlawn Cemetery almost on a daily basis for over a month now looking for a Harvester bfly. It is easy to get frustrated about not achieving your goals but I have learned from my failures to find success in other ways. One success came yesterday afternoon when I had come across some wonderful Broad Wing Skippers nectaring from a patch of thistle. It was a wonderful experience that brought me happiness.

Lead singer, Amanda Deen, from North of Nashville band sang the Star Spangled Banner, with a spectacular fireworks show to follow.
