Heyyy!!! I am requesting a little favor from my past clients…

If I’ve ever had the privilege of capturing a season of your life, whether it was your wedding day, your growing family, senior year, a new baby, or simply a moment you wanted to remember, I would LOVE to hear from you.

As Captured by Jo continues to grow (something new is in the works), I’m working on sharing more than just the photos. I want future clients to be able to hear about the experience from the people who have actually been in front of my camera.

This is my full time job during the school year and we are looking to add so many fun things to our room that reflect our approach to early childhood education!
I understand times are tough right now, but if you feel inclined to help our little classroom out, we would be overjoyed!

We noticed items that have been purchased are still showing available when shopping through Facebook, so we updated the link & it is now a registry, hopefully that helps!

We are so excited to be getting the room ready to go and putting all of our new items to use!

This summer has been incredibly inspiring for Miss Jordan. She had the opportunity to observe a couple early childhood classrooms, and came away with so many ideas that she cannot wait to bring into our own space. Every experience reminded her that children learn best when they are free to explore, create, wonder, and play.

Some of you have asked how you can support our classroom, so we wanted to share our Amazon Wishlist!

You may notice that it’s a long list and that’s intentional. 😊 It isn’t a list of things we expect to receive overnight. Instead, it’s our classroom vision. It will continue to grow and change throughout the year as we discover new interests, ideas, and opportunities for our children. Some items are simply goals for us to purchase ourselves over time, while others may become possible through the kindness of our classroom community.

This year, we’re hoping to add more:

🧩 Hands-on STEM invitations
🌈 Sensory exploration
🌧️ Outdoor learning opportunities—including rain gear so we can embrace all kinds of weather!

We know budgets are limited, ours included, and we wish we could purchase everything ourselves. If you feel led to bless our classroom with a gift, no matter the size, please know that it will be appreciated beyond words. Every item will be loved, well cared for, and enjoyed by many children for years to come.

And of course, classroom staples like disinfecting wipes, tissues, paper towels, soap, and other cleaning supplies are always welcomed and appreciated.

I am going to be removing galleries from the website by April 1st. All galleries in 2024 and Jan-May 2025 (dane/little league) will be removed.

If you have any questions or need me to hold on to the gallery let me know. There will be a small fee to keep your gallery up and running.

Please make sure after your gallery gets delivered that you download it and save it however you prefer. I do not hold on to the images forever.
