Inhale. Exhale.
20 months old. July 23rd 2024, 749 days ago we found out about bilateral clubfoot. We learned a lot in a short time. We learned that our 3rd baby girl had bilateral clubfoot. And what it was in the same day. We had numerous follow up appointments with MFM specialists watching her heart and spine to make sure the clubfoot wasn't something further than just that. Bilateral clubfoot. At 19 months old, Ada had very little interest in walking on her own. My mind was racing 90mph wondering why. What could be wrong. We set up a virtual appointment with her FL specialist and he assured us she will do it in her own time but to give her 2 months and if no progress was made, a week of PT and molded day time bracing would be needed. Within days of this appointment, Ada decided she was ready and now, walks more often than not. We don't need to go to FL before our yearly winter visit! This little girl has proven her strength and determination over her lifetime and we couldn't be more proud. Inhale. Exhale.
