This is about how I am feeling after getting home from my trip to Colorado. Did a lot of awesome and fun stuff, but I feel like I need a lot of very long naps right now 😅

Once I have slept off my sleep debt, I cannot wait to edit and post all of my favorite pictures from the trip!

Finally getting the chance to try out my new lens and had the perfect opportunity to do so tonight! One of the local Boeing 747-E4B Nightwatch planes was making touch and go passes at Offutt, which gave me the perfect opportunity to catch some shots. Was losing lighting so catching it without blur was a challenge, but it turned out alright.

2025: A Year in Review

It was a heck of a year! I spent more time getting comfortable with photographing people and spent a lot of time at mounted shooting events. My DSLR finally gave up the ghost this summer when its focal motor went out, so I made the leap to mirrorless and there is no way I will be going back! I have been enjoying learning my new camera and I absolutely cannot wait to use it next year.

I am hoping 2026 is just as full of adventures and memories with great people I have met along the way. I am so grateful for the people around me who have been a part of my journey this year. Thank you all for following along

With the beautiful white fluffy stuff on the ground, I am looking for some horses or pets to take pictures of frolicking in the snow. I took pictures of my heart horse frolicking in the snow many years ago, and I would love to take pictures of YOUR heart horse frolicking through the snow!
