A project I haven’t shared yet but was a blast to work on for a club at ! This 40-page booklet shared stories from club members and community members alike about their wide variety of faith backgrounds to inspire students to join the coalition. I love the concept of this space for students, which is an environment of inclusivity, dialogue, and education.

This project was a really fun one to create and I appreciated the freedom to work within the branding but still make it pop in a new way for a special printed piece.

A phrase I’ve been thinking of a lot, especially as I struggle to stay in the moment and instead focus on the past and future. Time is moving too quickly! How did I enjoy my past time? How can I enjoy my future time? Why can’t I just enjoy my time in the here & now?

This is something I’ve been working through as someone who lives with anxiety and this is a reminder this that the past and future exist merely as thought. The past isn’t real as it all exists as memories. The future isn’t real as it all exists as thoughts.

The now is all we have, so I’m hoping to enjoy this passage of now in its fullest. ⏳

Hi, friends 👋🏻 I’ve been MIA from designing for a bit as Zach Wulbert and I were busy getting MARRIED! What better way to celebrate one month of being legally bound than to share the wedding stationary I created for our wedding! I loved making these exactly what I envisioned for years and years, and perfecting them at my own pace, too. Going to cherish that memory forever! Huge shoutout to John Moler Photography, our awesome photographer, for getting this details shot from our big day. 🤍

✨ Admire the natural world around me for a few minutes longer each day + draw inspiration from the ordinary
✨Brush up on the history of the crafts I like and am learning to love
✨ Make, grow, remake. Learn to sort through the emotions of what is being made, and why it’s being made, too.

I’ve thought a lot about what I’d like my 24th year to look like and after such a momentous 23rd year, it feels like the right time to just breathe and spend this year listening more intently, loving more deeply, and learning with more fervor. With so much change, it’s been difficult to just absorb all of the ways in which life is moving differently and now is the best time to soak it all in! I created these three goals with the purpose of reminding myself that what’s important in life is not about what is coming next but about what is right in front of you, and to cherish those you love as well as yourself & what you bring to the world. Here they are:
✨ Residing in the moment: being present.
✨ Assurance that I belong and that my passions and skills are of value to myself and others: being powerful.
✨ Radiating kindness and acceptance
In any level of interaction: being warm.
Thank you all for another year of love, light, & happiness!

A bit of a ~soft~ post as I reflect on what design has meant to me I finished school over a year ago. It’s really ebbed and flowed since I finished my degree, with big life changes taking precedence over creative time. However, being creative also means you can live vicariously through others in your life who share the same passions. Mary Catherine Ruesch and Facebookless Dunham have been two sources of motivation, innovation, and reflection from our classes together in undergrad up until now. Even though we live in separate cities, we offer one another critiques of what we’re working on and celebrate each other’s triumphs in our professional and personal creative work. Find others in your network who push you to keep using your talents and who inspire you to always keep learning, I’m sure happy I found these two 👩🏻‍💻👨🏻‍🎨
