During speeches, everyone watches the person holding the microphone but I always find myself watching the parents and grandparents.

The quiet tears, the proud smiles, the realization that the little one they raised is starting a whole new chapter.

As a mom, these moments hit a little deeper for me.
I think about the years behind that moment, the bedtime prayers, the scraped knees, the car rides, the quiet sacrifices no one ever saw.
The speeches aren’t just stories, they’re a lifetime of love wrapped into a few tender minutes.

And capturing those reactions will always be one of my favorite parts of a wedding day. 🤍
