When you are able to photograph sports and create something that makes others happy is our main goal. We love taking something great and make it memorable. It definitely takes time when you create art manually rather than through AI. We believe every thing we produce needs a 100% one-of-a-kind personal touch. We have been asked about how we create our work.
We attend the event and take the photos. Then we go through all the photos one by one and w**d out the blurry ones and the pictures that have no use. Next we sort and organize each picture by team and player, trying to match every one through facial characteristics, clothing color, and other other distinctive features. Then we edit each picture and crop in to what we are focusing in on. Next we create a template that we are satisfied with based on the event. Being picky, we usually create several different templates depending on the activity and the purpose of the finished product. For the trading cards, we try to word the information given to help the athlete stand out. Then we put the poster/trading card together one by one, changing colors, wording, and other features. After each one is done, we go through each one again to verify the information provided with what we created. Then they are sent off to the printers. If you have seen any of our past work, you know there are never any two designs the same with each event we attend.
We know we could use AI or other things to do the work for us but we prefer to control what we produce and how it looks so there are no surprising issues and we can provide a personal touch and end with a valuable unique memory. The countless hours/days to create our art is worth it when we see/hear 1 smile.
Make sure to take pride in your work and continue to improve what you do. You will make mistakes, work long hours, have frustrations, and so much more, but it is worth it in the end knowing you created something with heart to bring joy to someone else.
