There’s something truly magnetic about the road to North Window in Monument Valley. Every dirt path here tells a story, but this one keeps drawing me back - and forcing me to stop for dozens of photos every single time.

One of my all-time favorites from Monument Valley.
West and East Mitten — giving each other the highest of high-fives across the desert floor. I don't know if it's geology or magic, but this frame gets me every time.
Good news: the Mitten Shadow Event is back in September — when one Mitten casts its shadow perfectly onto the other. Once-in-a-lifetime kind of thing.
I'm going. Are you? 🏜️

This twisted old juniper sits steps from the parking area at The North Window in Monument Valley - yet every time I shoot here, it turns an already iconic view into something more personal. Dead wood, living frame.

Rust red at the Monument Valley Overlook — the classic view, the deepest color, and the moment I never get tired of chasing.
I've stood here more times than I can count. Every sunset is different. Every sunset delivers. This valley never disappoints.
Which time of day would you choose — sunrise or sunset?

Some doors aren't made of wood.
Tear Drop Arch, Monument Valley. King on His Throne waiting on the other side - like the desert carved its own portal to somewhere sacred.

Monumental view of Monument Valley from Hunts Mesa.
Worth every dollar spent to get here.
Have you ever paid for a view and felt it was worth it?

First sunrise in Monument Valley? Go to The Overlook - right next to the Visitor Center. Don't walk, run. 🌅
This place leaves a mark on everyone. Every. Single. Time.

Two sandstone walls. One perfect frame.
Monument Valley has been doing this since long before anyone showed up with a camera - carving corridors that funnel your eye straight to the heart of the desert. East Mitten Butte rising dead center in the distance. Red dirt at your feet.
Some places just know what they're doing.

Watched The Searchers last night. Couldn't help it - had to post this. Through the doorway of an old Navajo hogan in Mustang Canyon, Monument Valley appears exactly as John Ford imagined it. Some places were built for legends - and they never let you forget it. 🏜️
