Wanted to give a shoutout to one of my favorite umpires to work with, Palmer.

He truly cares about the game and about the kids, and it shows every time he steps on the field. At this game, he was taking the time to teach a junior umpire the ropes and did a fantastic job doing it. That kind of leadership and love for the game does not go unnoticed.

He is also one of the most animated umpires behind the plate, which always brings great eHe is also one of the most animated umpires behind the plate, which always brings great energy to the game.

Umpires like Brandon make a real difference, and I just wanted to give credit where it is due.

Good morning, everyone!

Got out to Plumas Lake last night for a game and found a perfect open field to work with. I ended up laying down to get the angle I wanted—and apparently looked like a full-on sniper out there. 😂

Most people know me for baseball, but I love getting to capture more than just the diamond.

From the energy of the crowd to the intensity on the mat, this was such a fun event to shoot. I’m always drawn to those real moments — the focus, the emotion, the movement, and everything in between that makes each sport and event unique.

So if you’ve only seen my baseball work, just know that’s not all I shoot. I’m always excited to step into different spaces and capture the story as it unfolds.

This was my first time photographing travel ball, and I had such a great time. ⚾️🤍

There’s just something special about being out at the ball field — the big swings, the hustle, the dirt flying, and all those little moments in between that moms never want to forget.
