Kodie Bear wonders if you have felt left out on National Dog Day since maybe you don’t have a dog of your own. Consider adopting Kodie or another great pet from and get in on it next year!

Kodie is a robust 40 lb at 4.5 months old. He’s a Great Pyrenees / Golden Retriever mix so he’ll be a big boy.

He was a sweetheart in the studio, and liked his treats!

Huskies + any temperature over freezing = great pictures for tongue out Tuesday!

Athena and Ares came by the studio with dog mom Jen. We got lots of great stuff! It was hard to narrow it down. Expect to see more of these. These pups were so friendly and they were great models.

Luna was one of the adoptable dogs from the Pawsitive Tails adoption event I shot a couple of weeks ago. I think she's found a home, which is fantastic. She was a sweet pup.

Her smile in the first pic is giving me Muttley vibes. Gen X kids will know what I'm talking about. The rest of you may have to search.....😆

Bulldogs and Pugs are great--but what about a dog with a nice long snout? This is Tabby, a two year old mix. She's up for adoption from Pawsitive Tails.

She's got some Shepherd, Malinois, Great Dane, Staffordshire, and Pit. She was really friendly in the short time I got to meet her during our photoshoot.

This is Bob. I photographed him last weekend at the Pawsitive Tails adoption event in Olathe. They think he’s a Staffy mix but I think there might be a little hippo in there, too! 😉 He’s a sweet boy and it was fun to meet him.

He dressed up for his shoot in a collar and bow tie from Dubdog Designs. He looks so dapper, and the blue went well with his striking brown and blue/gray brindle coat.
