To all my wonderful clients,
First, I want to express my deepest gratitude to each of you. Whether you’ve worked with me once or have been a faithful client throughout the years, your trust and support have meant the world to me. Watching your families grow, capturing your milestones, and preserving your memories has been an incredible honor. Some of you have allowed me to witness so many chapters of your lives, and I am forever thankful for the relationships we’ve built along the way.
It is with a heavy heart that I share some difficult news. On December 6, my husband drove into Mexico and was robbed at gunpoint. It was a violent and terrifying experience, but by the grace of God, he made it out alive. Unfortunately, they stole his truck, the money he was traveling with, his passport/documents, and all of our belongings. My professional camera and lens were also in the truck, as I was scheduled to fly with my boys on December 13, and they were among the items taken. 😭
This has undoubtedly been a challenging time for our family, but as I mentioned earlier, we are deeply grateful that God protected my husband, his brother, and his sister, who were traveling with him. Material things can always be replaced in time, but a life is truly irreplaceable.
With this perspective, I’ve decided to take a step back from photography for now. I will complete the shoots and events I currently have scheduled by renting equipment, but I will not be accepting any new bookings for this year (2025). In addition, I am currently 19 weeks pregnant, and I feel this is also the right time to step back, focus on my family, and prepare for the arrival of our baby. A newborn will need so much of my care and attention, and this break will allow me to prioritize my growing family.
When I’m ready to resume and have replaced my photography equipment, I will let you all know. Thank you for your understanding, kindness, and support. I appreciate you more than words can express.
With love and gratitude,
Lala with Golden Faith Photography
