I’m not stepping away from photography. I’m simply stepping closer to the kind of art that makes me excited to pick up my camera.
Please read to the end.
A little update on my photography journey. 🤍
Over the last few months, I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what I truly love creating with my camera.
When I first started photography, I said yes to just about everything. It helped me grow, learn, and meet some incredible people, and I’ll always be grateful for that.
But somewhere along the way, I realized the sessions that completely light me up aren’t the traditional “smile at the camera” portraits.
I love creating images that feel like they belong in a story.
The kind that make you pause for a moment.
The kind that feel cinematic, emotional, nostalgic, and a little magical.
The kind where we aren’t just taking pictures—we’re creating art together.
Because of that, photography is no longer something I’m trying to turn into a full-time business or fill every weekend with bookings. Between my coffee shop, my other businesses, and my family, I’ve learned that I’d rather create less… but create work that I’m truly proud of.
Going forward, I’ll be taking on only a limited number of sessions, and they’ll be the kind that align with this artistic vision.
Think:
🌾 Fine art portraits
📖 Storytelling sessions
🎬 Cinematic imagery
✨ Editorial-inspired concepts
🌿 Nature-filled, intentional portraits
If you’ve ever wanted to create something unique, emotional, and completely different from a traditional photoshoot, I’d absolutely love to hear your ideas.
Thank you to everyone who’s supported my photography over the years. Every session, every share, every kind word has helped shape me into the artist I am today, and I’m excited to see where this next chapter leads. ❤️
One more thing… 🤍
In the near future, I’ll be looking for models who want to collaborate on some curated creative concepts I’ve been dreaming up for a long time. These will be styled, story-driven sessions where I’ll bring the vision to life from location and wardrobe ideas to the overall mood and feel.
These model calls will be complimentary in exchange for your time and willingness to help create something beautiful together. If that sounds like something you’d enjoy, keep an eye on my page. I can’t wait to start bringing these ideas to life.
