You gotta love weather in Alabama. 80 degrees and tornadoes one day and snow the next. And I don’t even know what day it is. 😵💫
The winter weather advisory has been expanded southward to include places like Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, Anniston, Sylacauga, Ashland, and Heflin. Rain this afternoon will change to snow tonight… most of the snow will come from 6pm to midnight.
Despite the warm ground, snow rates could be high enough for some light accumulation… generally 1/2 inch or less. Icy spots could develop on bridges tonight in the advisory area…
