Our love story is the reason I tell love stories.
Nineteen years ago, I met a boy in video production class. We were just kids. Now, nearly two decades later, we're married, raising four boys, and running a photo & video business together. Looking back, it feels like life dropped the biggest hint imaginableâand we completely missed it.
As you scroll through these photos, you'll probably notice something funnyâthe photography gets better. The cameras get better. The quality gets better. In the beginning, some of these photos are downright terrible. Grainy. Pixelated. Blurry.
And honestly, one of my biggest regrets is that so much of the beginning of our story wasn't documented the way I wish it had been.
Nineteen years later, I wish I had more documentation. Not because I forgot the memories, but because those memories matter even more now than they did then. So many memories. So much love. So, so, SO much chaos. It has been the honor of my life to do it all with you.
Somewhere along the way, I realized that's why I became a photographer. Not because I love cameras. Because I know what it feels like to wish you had more photographs of the people and moments that shaped your life.
One day, the moments that feel ordinary now will become the memories you treasure most.
That's why we do what we do.
Because I want our couples to have something I wish I had more ofâa beautiful reminder of the life they built together and the people they built it with.
Our crazy is beautiful to me.
Happy almost two decades, baby. â¤ď¸
