I am back from TN and this STUNNING wedding. The Bride, the Groom, the weather- just 15/10, amazing wedding.

It's become that time of year again.
Thet time of year where we have a discussion on why small business owners charge the way they do and why many of us require a retainer and prepayment.

I have $30,000 in outstanding invoices. I have far too many 'outstanding" invoices and "over due" ones as well. I have spots booked for a location I paid well over $1000 for and am being ghosted on confirmation & payment for those spots.

I UNDERSTAND that life happens. I UNDERSTAND that things change. But for f***s sake- please say something. I am now loosing income because it's Thursday and the rental starts monday and I have two spots open that were accounted for previously. {Yes you can book it if you want, Ill hook ya up too}

This is my BUSY season. I do not have time to chase adults down. I have bills to pay and groceries to buy like everyone else. This is how I feed my family- this isn't some hobby for me.

Going forward I will be instituting late fees on invoices. I have always done my absolute best to work with my girls, stretching payments out, offering payment plans, things like Afterpay {Which kills a small business in fees}, accepting Klarna etc.

Just please for the love of GOD communicate if you need to reschedule/cancel your session. Ghosting me will lead to being black listed and you will no longer be able to book in the future without full payment at booking.

If you have an invoice out that DOES NOT HAVE A PAID RETAINER please get to it ASAP or I will be cancelling shoots.

IF you are unsure- I can check to see if you have an invoice out, and any balance on it

Balances are due 2 weeks prior to your session, Need to pay it the week before? Cool by me. Need to set up a payment plan? Cool by me.

MODEL CALL SALE

Being as close to the beach as we’re going to be, I of course plan to do a lot of shooting there. Because why TF not?

I have 5 spots open for a beach session at a model call rate.

Can be solo or couples

$50 down, balance due a week prior
