I graduated from the University of Alabama in 1995 where I majored in accounting while working as the director of photography for The Crimson White student newspaper. After graduating, I have continued to work as a freelance photographer for The Tuscaloosa News, Associated Press & the Southeastern Conference having images published by Sports Illustrated, Daniel Moore, The New York Times, USA Today
, The Sporting News, ESPN, & many other magazines, newspapers, websites and artists across the United States. Although specializing in sports journalism, I have a passion for nature & outdoor portrait photography. I enjoy capturing those moments from sunsets over the Smoky Mountains, the serenity of a sunrise on the beach or capturing that special moment in someone's life that can never be replaced.
