You don’t need a mini session just because it’s fall. 🤎

Actually, some of my favorite fall evenings are the ones where we have nowhere to rush off to.

We can wander a little farther. Let the kids warm up. Stop when they find something interesting. Let somebody pick the flowers, climb the log, run ahead, come back for a snuggle.

There’s room for all of it.

Fall minis may be sold out, but fall with MBP isn’t.

I still have a handful of evenings open for full family sessions this September + October, and if you’ve been thinking about updating your family photos this year, I’d love to spend one of them with you.

Hello, September. 🤎

The month where summer still lingers a little, but the mornings start feeling different.

Open windows. Cooler evenings. Football games. Coffee tasting better outside. The first few leaves changing when nobody’s quite ready to admit summer is ending.

And at MBP, this is when things start getting really good.

Fall sessions. Busy weekends. Families I get to see year after year. Christmas plans tucked away behind the scenes. And today, a brand new little MBP Fall Edit making its way into the world. 🍂

September always feels a little bit like coming home.

Here’s to slower mornings, golden evenings, full calendars, good people and making something beautiful out of all of it.

I wanted this collection to feel less like “photography merch” and more like the kind of tees you’d actually reach for on a Saturday morning with leggings, your favorite jeans, a ball cap and a coffee in hand.

And somehow this little collection feels very us.

Made for the people who have loved MBP, cheered me on, trusted me with their families and businesses, and believe in supporting a small business run by a mama with a camera and a whole lot of big ideas.

Okay y’all… MBP is growing, and I think it’s time to add another creative heart to the mix. 🤍

I’m looking for a part-time content creator for Mary Beth Photography.

Someone who loves storytelling, pretty details, small businesses, behind-the-scenes moments and turning ordinary days into content people actually want to stop and watch.

This person would help capture BTS at sessions and around the studio, create reels + little video moments, help dream up content ideas and basically help me show more of the life behind MBP.

I’m looking for someone creative, dependable, comfortable with Instagram, has a good eye and understands that I want MBP to always feel like people first, photography second.

You definitely don’t have to be a professional photographer. I care much more about your eye, your creativity and whether you get the MBP vibe.

This will be a part-time, flexible position with lots of room to create.

Some sessions just mean a little more. 🤍

Angelina has been a part of our lives as our son’s girlfriend, so getting to be the one behind the camera for her senior pictures felt really special.

And goodness, she is lovely. The kind of lovely that has very little to do with how beautiful she is, and everything to do with the person she is.

We wandered through the flowers at Hickory Hills, talked, laughed, and made a little time stand still before this next chapter begins.

Angelina, I hope you always know how wonderful it is to watch you grow into the young woman you’re becoming. We sure do love having you around. 🤍

Turns out, these are the days.

Five people God has blessed me with the privilege of parenting. Five people I genuinely don’t deserve. The very best parts of me… here in one photo, and in heaven. 🤍🪽

A lot of them are taller than me, one is still little enough to carry, one we will all carry in our hearts forever… and getting everybody together in one place feels a little more special than it used to.

Motherhood is funny like that. You spend so many years in the thick of it. Packing bags, making dinners, driving everywhere, worrying, cheering, reminding someone for the hundredth time to grab their shoes.

And then one day you look around and realize the little people you were raising are becoming these really incredible big people.

I know I’m a photographer, so of course I’m going to tell you to take the pictures.

But this is why.

Because someday, I want to remember exactly what it felt like to stand right here in the middle of them.

My greatest work will never hang on a gallery wall.

IT’S THEM. 🤍
