I wanted to wish you all well and hope you and your families and friends are weathering the virus safely.
I realize its been a longer than usual silence from me, however I am still upright and grumpy as always. While I have not put the camera down completely, my creaking old knees have slowed me down to the point I am unable to produce the kinds of images which are up to the standards I’ve always tried to maintain…

Consequently, I’ve made arrangements with the US Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) Wheeler Museum to preserve my show jumping photographs and share them with future generations.

With the help of generous donors, the Wheeler Museum is acquiring my collection of more than 3,000 slides, negatives, and prints dates from the early 1970s through the early 2000s. I shot some of show jumping’s “best of the best,” including Show Jumping Hall of Famers and Olympians.

This is one of the wild horses at The Wild Horse Sanctuary in Shingletown California. With the wonderful work of the sanctuary and Dianne Nelson, he has been able to live his life wild and free.

Thank you so much for your response to the website. Being I'm still living in the dark ages... my methods of communicating are still by landline phone and snail mail. Please accept my apology for not responding via social media. This occasional contact will occur when my "techie" is available or nags me into doing it.

Hello from the Ancient One! I'm still upright in case anyone is wondering, still shooting until the day I can't hold a camera. For your information I have a new website, thanks to Christine Atkinson, my very talented "techie". I am sure you all will enjoy a lot of new material. Thanks for the support over the years. Let me hear from you!
