Late dusk overlooking Salmon Creek in Hilton last night taken from the parkway bridge. Back in the 70's, we'd be jumping off this bridge, not taking pictures from it. Although it was almost completely dark when I took this photo at 9:31 pm (sunset was at 8:42), a ten second exposure provided an incredible amount of detail and color, much more than was visible with the human eye. The other settings: ISO 500 at F5.6, Nikon D850, Nikkor 24-70mm F2.8 lens.

Beautiful scene with the nearly full moon rising over the Port of Rochester at Charlotte last night. The full moon will be rising out of the southeast tonight at 9:38 pm and it should be spectacular. Don't miss it!
