The Simsbury Camera Club, located in Simsbury, Connecticut, was formed in 1955 and has been in operation for over 60 years. Rather, it is open to the general public. The Simsbury Camera Club is a friendly (and very talented!) group interested in enhancing the photographic skills of our members through education. Simsbury Camera Club member, Bob Ferrante, is our featured photographer for the month of October. Visit the Simsbury Public Library this month to see Bob's display titled "A little bit of this and a little bit of that". The pictures in this exhibit cover a variety of styles and techniques. Bob's favorite subjects to shoot include birds, bugs, and flowers. All four seasons of the year are also represented in this eclectic display.

Get into the Halloween spirit with this photo titled "A Spirited Escape", which is part of Bob's display, located in the East Gallery Hallway in the lower level of the Simsbury Public Library.

The next Library Lecture is on November 4, 2026. Join the Simsbury Camera Club and Arik Gorban, an award-winning fine art photographer and instructor, for a presentation on "Macro/Close-Up Photography". Arik will share ideas and techniques for creative uses of macro photography.
