When I used to live in New York, I always wanted to create an Airbnb Experience to show visitors the New York that I have known and loved, but I was too occupied with my full time job and partying on the weekends😅 Now I am very excited to share this photo experience with you all while I’m back for a bit!

Inertia | Breakthrough | Momentum
To be honest, I don't know if I am there yet. Recently, I have felt lost in my creative journey as I have been relatively stagnant and unmotivated to create. Often distracted by life and the flashy and shiny things, I forget my intentions to be an artist and an observer of the world. I forget about the fuel that pushed me to quit my 9-5 job and embark on this nomad lifestyle across the globe. I started complaining more about the inconveniences of this lifestyle rather than embracing my original intention — to explore, document and share. But now, this might be one of the many breakthroughs of my creative journey. The process of entering this competition and visiting the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Athens inspired me to be creative again. I captured this photo during a project collaboration in Paros, Greece. The juxtaposition between the stagnant sailboat and the nimble jetski represents my inclination to remain unchanged and my lasting desires when I enter flow state. Luckily, the impetus that enables me to go from inertia to momentum in my creative work can be a spark of inspiration, a switch in mindset, or a simple cup of coffee☕️
