I include black and white conversions with almost all of my Indoor Lifestyle Family Studio Session galleries, because sometimes a photo hits you differently once the color is gone.

Indoor lifestyle family studio sessions are officially open for fall 2026.

Sometimes a full outdoor session an hour before sunset just is not realistic for the season of life you are in right now. And that is okay. This session was designed for exactly that.

No witching hour meltdowns, no weather to watch, no bugs. Just a light filled studio with clean, minimal furniture and a simple aesthetic that will feel timeless for years to come.

15 minutes is all it takes. I keep the energy light and play music your kids will love so everyone settles in fast and it actually feels fun, not forced. Your gallery includes both color and black & white images, and there is a bathroom on site for any last minute needs.

Booking between October 2 and January 1? I may be able to fold in holiday props like trees and wreaths if you want a little seasonal warmth in your images. If you want that classic holiday decor backdrop specifically, November 15th is the date to grab.

Session fee is $400 and includes 8 high resolution digital images.

Every August, I am right there with you, prepping my own two for the first day while somehow also getting ready to photograph yours. As a mom, I know exactly how big this moment is, which is why this Saturday has become one of my favorites of the whole year.

Back to school portrait day at is basically Christmas morning for me, except instead of presents I get missing teeth, fresh haircuts, and the best "first day of school" faces you have ever seen.

Join me at Dearly Children's Boutique on Saturday, August 15, for a session with special pricing made just for this collaboration, discounted from my regular children's personality portraits.

Here's the deal: $150 per child gets you three high resolution digital downloads, with the option to upgrade to a larger collection if three just is not enough (understandable, your kid is very photogenic).

These portraits live in black and white, because that is where the magic happens and those tiny expressions do not need color to knock you off your feet. But if you are firmly team color, I've got you. Add it for $50 at booking and every image you pick arrives in both color and black and white. Just a heads up, this one has to be decided before your kiddo sits down, since it changes the backdrop and the editing process. No adding it after the fact, so lock it in at checkout.

Bring your own "First Day Of ___" sign, or raid the little collection of signs and props when you get there.

Quick housekeeping:

- One booking per child, and they need to be able to sit unassisted
- Bringing siblings or friends in back to back slots? I will absolutely try to sneak in a group shot if time allows
Payment is due at booking, and sessions are non refundable and locked to this date
- First come, first served. Once slots fill or August 15 arrives, that is a wrap

You know what stinks? France losing the World Cup semifinal last night.

You know what doesn't stink? What actually smells delicious? These bespoke luxury perfumes from Sovereign Fragrance.

Meet Roxanne Kirkpatrick, one of only about 60 official perfume noses in the world. Classically trained in Paris, she spent her career at one of the largest fragrance houses on the planet creating scents for brands you definitely know. Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Forever. Marc Jacobs Wild Daisy. Ralph Lauren Ralph's Club New York. Azzaro Most Wanted.

Now she brings that same artistry to Sovereign, where you can co-create a fully custom perfume with her or explore her in-house collection with names like Ranch Water, Velvet Smoke, and Riad l'Orangeraie (my favorite). Her philosophy is that the most powerful fragrances do more than smell beautiful, they hold your memories.
