Hey Grad,
This year, 2020, was supposed to be your year. This was supposed to be your last semester to enjoy those final days on campus with your classmates, roommates, and life long friends. This was supposed to be the last few months of college life before you had to officially start adulting. And now you’re home, doing online classes, and are not able to have a graduation ceremony this spring. This sucks.
When I graduated, all I had to worry about was how I was going to spend those last precious days on campus with my friends (and securing a job interview). I can’t imagine not being able to celebrate with your friends and family after putting in years of hard work, time, and let’s be honest -a huge amount of money. It’s devastating. If you’ve read my old blog post about shooting senior sessions, then you know how much I love working with grads and why I think this is such an important time to commemorate.
For any grad who has had to have their final semester and graduation cancelled or postponed, I want this time to be as stress free as possible. That’s why I am making all of my Senior Sessions 50% for any graduate who has been affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic. Your session will scheduled for when non-essential businesses can open again, so hang on to your regalia! I will also be offering 30 min virtual sessions and a visual class on how to take better phone photos in the coming days if those are options that interest you as well. What’s important to remember right now, is that you are still a 2020 graduate. You are still an accomplished person with so much to offer the world and that will be celebrated. So stay healthy, and congrats to the class of 2020!
