Another client just booked me for a session.

one of the very first things they said to me on the phone was how much they LOATHE getting their headshot done.

I told her what I've said to almost every other person that's booked me:

They've all initially said the same thing.

😯 whoa.

and by the end of it, their mindset is completely changed.

like a light switch.

turns out, way more people are capable of a great headshot. actually, I'd say EVERYONE can do it.

You literally just need someone to help you bridge that gap between where you are currently, and where you want to go = confident, authentic Headshot that is YOU. not a cheesy big smile.

Trusting in my process has solved many of my clients real-world problems for their job, business, opportunities. you name it.

This works. And I'm so thankful I get to use photography to help others achieve their goals and dreams.

She wanted a headshot of authenticity.

What that means is a headshot that matches how she would be consistent with how she is with clients.

Listening.
Absorbing.
Understanding.

She needed her headshot to reflect that role, and we really delivered. Look at her eyes. They have a warm, inviting, disarming presence.

This was essential for her look and we accomplished it.
My headshots aren’t always about having complex lighting.
Sometimes it’s just about perception.

Thankful I can create great Headshots for many great people.

whenever I photograph Headshots, I look for what makes you trustworthy, and authentic.

Despite my window of opportunity for this particular session, being much shorter than usual, I believe we still achieved that look and feel to the Headshot!

Today is an official milestone for my photography. First session took place in the new studio space.
For about 3’ish years I’ve had the dream of having a totally separate photo space that allowed for my headshot setup, with the portrait setup directly next to it in a location that allowed for WAY more than enough room.

The point of it would be to simply better serve clientele and give them plenty of options to give them what they need. That’s been the idea, the vision, the concept, in mind for while. Last week that became a reality.

The space isn’t perfect, it’s a warehouse unit. However, that does not diminish the functionality, and the results that I can produce, in a very short period of time, that will get someone the results they need for their brand, image, and leg up in their career. Thank the Lord Jesus for this next step. I’m so thankful I can serve people better now. This has been so long awaited. Praise The good Lord.

Thank you Derrick for coming in. Pleasure and honor to create the series of images you walked away with!!! He’s a voice over artist that is stepping up his branding and I’m pumped to have done this for him!
