One thing I love is big galleries. Out of all my full sessions so far this year, none have been under 110 images delivered! I really can’t help it. Early in my career I would try to limit the number of images I edited. I thought capping at 50 images meant I looked more professional and was more worth my time, but that quickly changed because that’s just not me. Once I let go of that notion in my head and just started giving all the images I would want back if it were me, photography became enjoyable again. Now one of the best parts is that final upload on the website and seeing the number of images downloading. I’m like “yeah girllllll we did it again 🎉🙌🏻”.
Seeing a session get 100+ photos just reminds me of how far I’ve come. No two images are the same. You’re not getting repeat photos of the same pose. You’re getting the small changes in your face as you looked to your partner, the shift in your step as you got closer to your baby, or the change in wind that tossed your hair to the perfect view. Every image I deliver I want to be able to go up on your wall and cherished for years to come. Nothing is more fleeting than this moment right now and I’m going to capture the heck out of it for you!
