A little change to how I share my work online…

As a photographer — and as a mom — I've been thinking a lot lately about children's privacy and the way photographs can be used online, especially as AI technology continues to evolve.

I love sharing the beautiful memories I create with your families. Your sweet babies, your silly toddlers, your growing kids, and all of those little moments are a huge part of why I love what I do.

But your children's privacy and safety matter to me more than having another pretty picture for my page.
Because of that, I'm making a small change to how I share photographs from sessions involving minors.

Going forward, and as always, I will respect a parent's wishes regarding their child's image being shared publicly.
If you give me permission to share images from your session but would prefer that your child's face not be publicly identifiable, I'm happy to blur or otherwise obscure their face before posting.

And if you don't want your child's images shared at all, that's completely okay, too! ❤️

There will never be any pressure to allow me to use your child's photographs for advertising or social media. Your decision will not affect the quality of your session, your relationship with me, or how much I adore the images we create together.

I may still share things like:
🌻 Flowers & beautiful locations
🤍 Details and little moments
✨ Silhouettes or photos taken from behind
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family images where faces aren't identifiable
📸 Adult, maternity, couple & wedding work
…and, when parents give permission, photographs of children with their faces visible.

My goal isn't to scare anyone or tell you what you should or shouldn't do with your own family's photographs. It's simply MY decision as your photographer to be more intentional about protecting the privacy of the children I have the privilege of photographing.

I know my Sunflower Sessions didn't quite go the way I hoped, BUT…
I just found out that Meadowbrooke's sunflower field is starting to bloom AND their wildflower field is having a SECOND BLOOM. 😍
So now I'm wondering…

Would you guys be interested in Late Bloom Minis at Meadowbrooke Gourds?

❗️❗️ ATTENTION! Friendly reminder to my clients and followers! ❗️❗️

As I get ready to welcome my sweet baby boy into the world, I am officially beginning my maternity leave TODAY, August 9th, 2026!

I will be taking some much-needed time away from photography to focus on recovering, soaking up those newborn cuddles, and spending time with my family. 🥰

📸 Mama Tay's Curious Captures - Photography will be on maternity leave from now through Saturday, September 26th, 2026.

During this time:
✨ I will be accepting a very limited number of bookings.
✨ Response times to messages may be slower than usual.
✨ I may pop in occasionally to share some personal updates or photography fun, but I’ll primarily be taking this time to rest and enjoy family time with our new little guy. 💙

There is just something so special about photographing those tiny newborn details—the little fingers, the sleepy expressions, the button nose, and all those brand-new features that change entirely too quickly.

I had the sweetest time capturing these moments of Greyson for Rylie, and I absolutely adore how these images turned out. 🥰
