Though I am continuing to enjoy my "hiatus," I still recognize the value of a family photo session. I am beyond excited that our family will have our portraits done next week by Emily Allen Photography. She is beyond amazing, and is only in town for one weekend. After much thought and prayer, I have come to a big decision. I am indefinitely "closing" Tusen Takk Photography. Our family continues to grow and it is becoming increasingly difficult to find the time needed for my children, my husband and this business. I love "taking pictures" and will continue to do so for my own growth (something that has been stagnant the past few years.) I will be honoring all valid gift certificates as well as a few spring sessions I have already committed to. One thing I have not lost any passion for is volunteering my services. If you know of a need, please present it to me. I'm a sucker for a good cause ;) Tusen Takk for all your kind words over the past few years!

I received a very special text today :) It was from one of my fall shoot clients excited about her Christmas cards and offering to send me one. The text somehow was deleted. I didn't have the number saved, so I don't know who sent the text. So, Mystery Text-er, if you see this, I would LOVE a card! In box me and I'll send you my address :) It sounds kind of shallow, but receiving Christmas cards from clients is really the most concrete proof I have that you liked the images. Makes me happy :)

I'm setting up dates for fall Mini-sessions. I have a (personally) busy September, so I will likely do two dates in October and one in early November. I'm desperate for new locations. Anyone have suggestions?
