Happy Juneteenth everyone! I’m sad to say I never was educated about Juneteenth in school and I’m sure it’s probably not part of the curriculum today, but you better believe I’ll be educating my own kids about this. We’ve been talking a lot about racism and what we can do about it recently. While I’m learning a lot myself, I’m happy that our kids have a head start on being compassionate human beings.

I just love these two cuties. Happy birthday to the sweetest, smiliest, tallest baby boy! I enjoyed watching you warm up to thinking about smashing your cake and then finally going for it! Happy first year to Stacy and Sean for making parenting look easy and waltzing through your first year! You guys are amazing. This guy has brought so much love to the world!
