In case anyone out there is near the tv around 7:30 Tuesday night (tomorrow) you might get a glimpse of Karin in the a2n2/ dimsumdesign gallery in Brookline Village. The camera crew stopped in last month.

The economic turmoil of the last few years has shaken consumers and rocked retailers. Now there are some signs that shoppers are spending again – cautiously.

For any of you out there that still read newsprint, check out the Boston Globe West section of today's paper. The article of "Shops Locate at Brookline's Pop-Up Marketplace" mentions Dim Sum Design as one of the starter companies in the launch of Pop Up Republic Marketplace, located at 2 Brookline Place in Brookline Village. If the last Pop-up you experienced was a colorful cardboard children's book, you owe it to yourself to check out what could be one of the hottest retail concepts today!
