I’ve been dying to share this news and can finally say it… my family and I are moving back to Stuttgart this summer!

Stuttgart holds such a special place in my heart because it’s where I first started my photography business back in 2016, during one of my husband’s military assignments. So many of my first clients, sessions, and memories as a photographer happened there.
Now, ten years later, the military is giving us the opportunity to return and it truly feels like life coming full circle. I’m so excited for round two in Stuttgart and reconnecting with past clients, meeting new families, and capturing more beautiful moments in such a special place.

Lately, I’ve been soaking up every bit of this Rhode Island life, especially these gorgeous beaches. We’ve had the prettiest Indian summer sunsets, and I’m not mad about it one bit. The light, the breeze, the sound of the waves… it’s honestly the best backdrop for any session.

One of the things I love most about our military life is the incredible people it brings into our world. This sweet family is a perfect example. Life in the military comes with its challenges, but it’s also gifted me the chance to meet amazing people and create connections I’ll treasure long after the photos are taken.

Whether you’re walking hand-in-hand under golden arches or sipping hot cocoa by the fire, this season brings out the magic in every moment. Movies like “You’ve Got Mail,” “The Lake House,” and “Mystic Pizza” would definitely agree.

The golden hues start to shift ever so slightly, as a gentle reminder that change is on the horizon. I had the joy of photographing a friend and her beautiful family recently. As I watched the children play and laugh, I couldn't help but notice how much they resembled the sunflowers surrounding us—radiant, full of life, and always reaching for the light. 🌻 ✨
Just as sunflowers turn their heads

What are you looking forward to the most during this holiday season? To me, it’s the evening after Thanksgiving. We made it a tradition to spend the day setting up the Christmas tree, drinking hot chocolate and mulled wine, and watching “White Christmas”. It’s the opening night of the Christmas season. No distractions, no work, no other plans. Just the 4 of us.
This session gave me all the Christmas feels and reminded me I have something to look forward to.
