To all my amazing Baker County clients: my family is moving to the Oregon coast later this summer, and I won’t be able to schedule regular sessions going into the next year. My current summer bookings will take place as scheduled and I may have limited availability for some sessions in July.
I will be coming back to Baker from time-to-time to visit my girls at college and family and friends here in town. I’ll be sure and let you know in advance when I’ll be back in case anyone wants to schedule a quick session! Also- I’d be more than happy to schedule your sessions at the beach if you’re coming my way! Thanks for helping me do what I love, it’s been such an honor to grow with so many of you and your families over the years 💜

One of the really awesome things about doing something I love (photography), is that I get something else I love along with it (relationships). Christine and Jesse originally sought me out awhile back to do their engagement pics. We've been hitting some other big milestones together since then: their wedding and now their first baby! More than that- as Christine reminded me the other day - we're not just photographer/clients anymore - we're friends. I'm so blessed to be able to capture this beautiful couple and share a glimpse of their joy.

Jesse did a little "behind the scenes" recording I thought I'd share for kicks. It was REALLY bright the day we did this shoot- so the warm (38 degrees) was wonderful, but the shadows and light bouncing off the snow was intense. Check out the heavy shadow on Christine here and then the picture in the other post for how useful flash can be on a really bright day.
