Wrote Senator Mark Warner this morning on the DJI Ban. Not sure itll do anything at all but I had to give an effort. Please look into doing the same. Here is my letter you can use as a draft and make your own. It only takes a few moments.

Dear Senator Warner,
I am writing to you as a Virginia resident and as the owner of a newly established but rapidly developing drone services company. I respectfully urge you to oppose any broad federal ban on DJI drones in the United States.
My business is built around a small but highly trained operational team that relies entirely on DJI aircraft. These platforms were chosen because they provide a level of reliability, safety, and technical capability unmatched by any domestic alternatives currently available. As a new company in a competitive and growing industry, the cost, stability, and performance of DJI drones have made it possible for us to enter the market, serve clients, and begin building a sustainable operation.
A nationwide ban on DJI drones would have a severe and immediate impact on my business. It would ground our entire fleet overnight, halt all ongoing projects, create substantial financial losses, and force us to purchase more expensive and less capable replacements. For a young Virginia small business like mine, the consequences could be existential. The transition costs alone—training, adopting new workflows, re-certifying operations, and purchasing new equipment—would be beyond what a startup can reasonably absorb.
I understand and respect the national security concerns that have been raised, and I fully support measures that ensure secure data practices, responsible use, and strong regulatory oversight. However, a blanket ban would penalize thousands of small businesses who operate safely, legally, and transparently. There are more balanced solutions available, including standardized cybersecurity guidelines, secure operating modes, and controlled-use certifications—approaches that protect national interests without destroying the livelihoods of American entrepreneurs.
My company exists because DJI technology made it possible for an ordinary Virginia resident to enter an innovative field and contribute to the local economy. A ban would erase that opportunity not only for me, but for countless others across the state who use these platforms for public safety, inspections, agriculture, real estate, filmmaking, and more.
I respectfully ask that you consider the significant economic impact this action would have on small businesses like mine, and I urge you to oppose any legislation that would institute a broad prohibition on DJI drones without offering realistic, affordable alternatives.
Thank you for your time and for your continued service to the Commonwealth of Virginia. I would welcome the opportunity to further discuss how this issue directly affects small businesses in our state.
Sincerely,
Stanley Potter
U.S. Senator Mark R. Warner
