I recently got to capture another "day in the life" (all day) session with Mary Saunders Bulan and Kiera Mulvey Bulan and their two sweet boys. Check it out on my blog and don't hesitate to get in touch if you're interested in having your own family's lifestyle documented in an authentic way with an artistic eye. I want to create books that tell the story of a day in your life, spending a day with each client family every year or so as the kids grow up. We'll build a collection of beautiful books and years from now these moments will pull you right back into the memories of each of these special periods in your families experience. One of my particular hopes is that later down the road, your grown children might even gain extra perspective on their memories of their parents--I love to show and document the endless care and patience and effort that parents devote to nurturing them. This is something I could never really show in a posed family portrait of smiles and cute outfits (which is also so valuable to capture and I love doing it, but it's a different sort of endeavor!)-- it's something I only get to see when capturing the sometimes messy experiences of day to day and the mundane parental triumphs of the adults making life work! I hope this work speaks to some of you and if you're open to having me document a slice of your life please do get in touch!
