Crossing Paths – Art Week, the second edition of Turkish Visual Arts Week, brings together 14 Turkish-Canadian artists in a multidisciplinary exhibition exploring encounters between cultures, memories, places, and individual experiences.
“Crossing paths” is understood not simply as a physical intersection, but as a space where different artistic perspectives, cultural experiences, and personal histories meet, overlap, and transform one another. Bringing together painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, performance, sound, movement, and experimental practices, the exhibition embraces diversity as a starting point for dialogue.
The exhibition forms part of a week-long multidisciplinary program that also includes conferences, workshops, and performances, extending the dialogue beyond the gallery space.
Artists: Aykut Gurcaglar, Damla Yarar, Ersin Yılmazer, Gulay Alpay, Guler Caglar, Hale Ozansoy, Hatice Erdogan, İsmayil Atmaca, Mert Kaan Burnaz, Ozge Aytekin, Perihan Kucukosman, Sacide Sezer, Su Tarhan, and Zeynep Gulec
