Can you believe it was only 30 degrees with a windchill in the twenties for this photo?!

My client really wanted outdoor photos, but we prepared for studio shots just in case it was too cold or raining.

I was praying for a warm winter day. It wasn’t!

We decided to go for it anyway. She knew what she wanted and was ready for anything.

I’m thrilled with the shots we got for her as launches her position as a real estate agent.

She’s a great example of someone who moves through obstacles with apparent ease, so I know she’s going to do the same thing for her clients.

Senior photo session.

This smart, beautiful girl just graduated from high school and will be heading off to her dream college in the fall.

I’m so thrilled I got the chance to capture this moment in time with her!

This year I was able to do senior sessions for 2 kids I’ve known since they were littles.

It’s amazing to see the grown up humans they are becoming. Gives me hope for the future!

Did you know that besides being a photographer, I’m also a podcast host?

I don’t talk about my podcast here much, but I am today because I’m celebrating the 4 year anniversary of The Late Bloomer Living Podcast!

My friend in the picture above was my first guest, so I brought her on again this week to help me celebrate.

(I also took that picture of her!)

🌻 Experts have also joined the conversation lately to talk about the specific challenges that tend to come with aging. We’ve talked about dating later in life, menopause, fear of dementia and how internalized ageism affects our health and happiness.

I saw this on a bumper sticker the other day.

It was a good reminder. I see it as part of my mission to Live Playfully at ANY Age.

We get so busy adulting that we forget to make time to play.

What if you’ve lost touch with what makes you happy?

I think it’s important to define what happiness means to you.

Does it mean feeling free?
Does it mean feeling peaceful?
Does it mean feeling excited?

What can you do today to connect with what makes you happy?

In the city for an actor headshot session with one of my favorite clients!

Took an early train in, so I’m using the extra time to settle in for an iced coffee and some awesome people watching! (My favorite NYC activity!)
