🌿 Last Saturday's wedding had a few cute trends we have seen pop up! One is an audio guestbook. Instead of having a traditional signature guest book, your guests can now record a message and well wishes for you on an audio guestbook. ☎️

🍰 The cake cutting tradition is getting a whole new twist. While you're with your photographer cutting your own small cake, your guests can cut right into the centerpieces and serve themselves some dessert while watching your family dances.

🌿 Last Saturday we had planned for a beautiful outdoor wedding at Lakewood in Huntingdon, PA. Unfortunately the weather had different plans 🌦 Right as the ceremony was about to begin the rain unleashed. Guests scattered to under trees, umbrellas and wherever they could find cover.

💡 Luckily, our team always come with the back up plan. Within 15 minutes we had moved all the guests inside, had chairs reset, had music going, vendors ready and bridal party entering.

🌟 We understand when planning your outdoor wedding your sites are set but sometimes Mother Nature has different plans. Make sure to hire a team ready to bust their butts for you to turn a not so fun situations into a pretty good story for your wedding day.

Shout out to one of our many favorite venues!
Woodhaven B&B and Event Venue /

🌦️ Last weekend the weather wasn't looking too promising in the early morning and afternoon rain, but just an hour prior to guests arrival it stopped and we were able to pull off an outdoor wedding!

🌿 The owners, Bryn and Dan, if you don't know them only purchased the property a few years ago. They offered the bed and breakfast while renovations were made inside the barn to create a wedding venue. The ceremony spot you're looking at didn't even exist. They've put their hearts and souls into the place and just last year they opened a brewery under the barn offering locals a friendly, clean and social establishment to enjoy a brewskis 🍻and brick oven fired pizza 🍕

🪺 Woodhaven offers beautiful rooms, landscapes and even brings a little nature to your wedding. This past weekend we spent some time with a little nest of birdies while the guests enjoyed some time on the dance floor.

📣 So next time you visit Woodhaven make sure to give Bryn and Dan a handshake and congratulations, they've built a wonderful experience for the people of Schellsburg, PA.
